Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic Technologist
Job Summary
The Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic Technologist performs, assists, and completes radiographic examinations in the cardiovascular lab. Utilizing advanced and sophisticated equipment, this role involves conducting active interventional procedures and producing high-quality digital images as ordered by physicians. The technologist will also be responsible for providing exceptional patient care through technical expertise and critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist in cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations.
• Conduct active radiographic interventional procedures using advanced equipment.
• Operate equipment to produce digital images of designated body parts as per physician orders.
• Position and instruct patients for various examinations and specialized studies.
• Provide efficient and effective clinical care through a high level of technical and organizational skills.
• Model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills and best practices.
• Contribute to hiring and promotion decisions for staff members.

Qualifications

• Relevant certification and training in radiographic technology.
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular procedures and associated technologies.
• Excellent technical, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care.
• Experience in mentoring and training staff is preferred.
