Description: The Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist will work Monday through Friday. The schedule may vary based on operational needs. Call is required 1-2 days per week and one weekend every five weeks. Duties include interpretation of dysrhythmias, performing various interventional procedures such as adrenal angiography, angioplasty, aortography, chemoembolization, and many others. The technologist will be responsible for equipment setup and maintaining a sterile field while scrubbing and circulating during procedures. They will assist with vascular closure systems and other special interventions. The clinician will provide care to patients across all age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Daily census is around 20 patients, and there are four procedure rooms available. Candidates should be able to float within the facility based on patient census.
