Must-Have:
- Neuro interventional experience, including Stroke Thrombectomy, Aneurysm Coiling, Aneurysm Stenting, AVM Embolization, and Carotid Stenting.
- Line access experience, such as port placements, PICC placement, and Dialysis Catheter Placement.
- Experience with peripheral and body angiography.
Description:
The position requires neuro experience with a commitment of 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Shifts start between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Weekends are covered by a rotating on-call schedule among staff members. On-call responsibilities occur after 5 PM on weekdays and include weekend coverage. The daily census in the department typically ranges from 15 to 20 cases. The facility serves a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Candidates should be comfortable with various patient diagnoses, including chronic illnesses and trauma cases. The unit is equipped to handle a range of interventional radiology procedures. Collaboration is essential, with interdisciplinary support from various departments. Adaptability may be required as agency staff may float to other units based on census needs. All staff must maintain their competencies and ensure patient care requirements are met consistently.
