Must-Have: Experience with Vascular Access, Embolization, Dialysis work, and PE Thrombectomy; Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
Description: The technician will work four 10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM with a rotating day off. An occasional shift may be from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Daily caseload per technician ranges from 5 to 8 cases. On-call duty is required, including one weeknight every other week and one to two weekends within the contract. One possible holiday on-call is also required. Floating between service lines is not expected. Travelers will not float to other facilities. The facility is a teaching hospital with a Level 1 trauma designation. The technician is expected to wear navy scrubs, which are provided. Charting will be conducted using the Epic system. All travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Travelers must have a radiation badge, which must be provided by the staffing agency. Experience with specific case types such as Y90 Implant and Trauma Embolization is preferred. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Travelers must be prepared to complete pre-start compliance on time. All personal time off must be included at the time of submission.
