Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Interventional Radiology
Join an esteemed health system at the Springfield Regional Medical Center located in the heart of Springfield, Ohio. This facility seeks a dedicated temporary coverage provider for Interventional Radiology. You will be part of a dynamic team in a hospital-based setting, delivering quality care to adult patients. This role offers a chance to work in a supportive environment with a mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:- Perform interventional radiology procedures such as angioplasty, embolization, port catheter placement, biopsy, drainage, ablation, and kyphoplasty.
- Manage a daily patient load averaging 12 adult patients.
- Provide on-site care during scheduled shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Participate in night call and weekend 24-hour call coverage as required.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation.
- Board Certified in Radiology - Interventional.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Ohio medical license preferred.
- DEA registration required.
- Board Certification is mandatory.
