Position OverviewDiagnostic Radiologist position providing remote coverage for the ED from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM EST. This is a telehealth-based role requiring resident teaching. Average ED mixed cases per 8-hour shift: 80-130. PACS: Sectra, EMR: Cerner, Dictation: Powerscribe. Workstation provided.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide diagnostic radiology coverage overnight with 2-3 residents on-site requiring teaching and supervision.
Candidate RequirementsBoard Certified (minimum) in Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine. Michigan medical license required. Clean malpractice history required. DEA waiver required (DEA not required). BLS not required for remote work. NPDB report pulled within the last 30 days must be submitted with bid. Case logs required with bid submission.
Organizational Highlights2-3 weeks of coverage needed per month, with consideration for candidates covering 1 week per month. Minimum 7 shifts per month required. Coverage needed ASAP through April 1, 2027.
