Coverage & Setting:
- Reason for Coverage: Scheduling need
- Level II Trauma
- Stroke-certified hospital
- Admissions required
- Assigned and unassigned patients
- Approximately 5-20 patients per shift
Clinical Scope & Procedures:
- Bread-and-butter Interventional Radiology procedures
- Biopsies
- Dialysis access
- Drain placement
- Peripheral vascular thrombectomy
- Venous thrombolysis
- Arterial thrombolysis
- Ability to read vascular ultrasound - Highly Preferred
Call Requirements:
- Beeper call
- 20-minute call response time required
Support & Systems:
- EMR: Athena/Cerner
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology - Required
- Active Michigan license - Required
- ACLS - Required
- Fellowship - Preferred
