What You'll Do:
- Perform core interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsies, thrombolysis, and UFE
- Support additional procedures in ortho, gyn, and urology when needed
- Manage hospital-based IR services within a Level I trauma center
- Collaborate with a team of radiologists and APPs supporting patient care
- Document procedures efficiently in hospital EMR system
- Maintain clinical quality and adhere to safety protocols
What You Need:
- Valid Michigan medical license and Board Certification in Radiology
- 3+ years of IR experience preferred
- Strong procedural skills in vascular and interventional techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
About the Assignment:
This position is based at a top hospital in Lansing, MI, providing hospital-based IR services to adult and geriatric patients. The facility supports interventional radiology with a dedicated team, including manager and APP support staff. The IR team performs a variety of vascular and diagnostic procedures in a high-volume, trauma Level I setting. Travel reimbursements and lodging are available for providers covering 3+ weeks per month, with fast credentialing possible in approximately 90 days.
