What You ll Do
  • Perform interventional procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsies, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE)
  • Support a team of three physicians and two APPs in a Level I trauma hospital
  • Collaborate with support staff to provide quality, emergency, and elective IR services
  • Document procedures efficiently using hospital EMR (not specified)
  • Manage case loads averaging about 8 cases per day
  • Participate in Q3 call schedule, including weekday and weekend call coverage
  • Assist with ortho, gyn, and urology procedures as needed
What You Need
Required:
  • MD or DO licensed in Michigan
  • Board-certified in Radiology with Interventional subspecialty
  • Minimum of 2+ years of IR experience
  • Ability to perform a wide range of IR procedures independently

Preferred:
  • Experience in a Level I trauma center
  • Familiarity with hospital EMR systems
  • Willingness to travel for coverage (3+ weeks preferred)
