- Perform interventional procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsies, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE)
- Support a team of three physicians and two APPs in a Level I trauma hospital
- Collaborate with support staff to provide quality, emergency, and elective IR services
- Document procedures efficiently using hospital EMR (not specified)
- Manage case loads averaging about 8 cases per day
- Participate in Q3 call schedule, including weekday and weekend call coverage
- Assist with ortho, gyn, and urology procedures as needed
Required:
- MD or DO licensed in Michigan
- Board-certified in Radiology with Interventional subspecialty
- Minimum of 2+ years of IR experience
- Ability to perform a wide range of IR procedures independently
Preferred:
- Experience in a Level I trauma center
- Familiarity with hospital EMR systems
- Willingness to travel for coverage (3+ weeks preferred)
