Join a dedicated team at a prominent hospital in Lansing, Michigan, as a full-time, Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist (MD). You will be part of a collaborative environment within a 3-physician / 2-APP Interventional Radiology team, focused on hospital-based IR services. This position offers a day-shift schedule along with a Q3 call coverage, ideal for professionals looking to make an impact in a supportive setting.
Job Responsibilities:- Perform a diverse range of interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE).
- Provide hospital-based services on a day-shift schedule.
- Participate in Q3 call coverage, rotating every third weekday and weekend.
- Collaborate with support staff including a manager and two APPs, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Maintain documentation and manage patient case loads, averaging 8 cases per day.
- Handle additional preferred procedures related to orthopedics, gynecology, and urology.
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology (REQUIRED).
- Active Michigan Medical License (REQUIRED).
- Current BLS and ACLS Certifications (REQUIRED).
- Experience in a hospital-based practice environment is highly preferred.
- Clean malpractice and license history (HIGHLY PREFERRED).
- Ability to provide a copy of the NPDB self-query at the time of presentation (REQUIRED).
- Board Certification in Interventional Radiology (REQUIRED).
- Active State Medical License in Michigan (REQUIRED).
- BLS & ACLS Certifications (REQUIRED).
