Join a dynamic team at a leading hospital in Lansing, Michigan, seeking a full-time, Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist (MD) to provide hospital-based interventional radiology services. This position operates on a day-shift schedule and includes Q3 call coverage. Ideal candidates are those capable of providing consistent coverage, with particular needs for the months of November and December.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE).
- Participate in a call rotation providing Q3 call coverage.
- Work alongside a supportive team of two APPs and two other interventional radiologists.
- Maintain high standards of patient care for primarily adult patients, including geriatric demographics.
- Document cases accurately according to facility protocols.
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology (Required).
- Active Michigan Medical License (Required); IMLC or compact license not accepted.
- BLS & ACLS Certifications (Required).
- Ability to commit to 2+ weeks of coverage per month (Required).
- Preferred: Clean malpractice & license history; NPDB self-query (within 30 days).
- Board Certification in Interventional Radiology: Required
- Active State Medical License (Michigan): Required
- BLS and ACLS certifications: Required
