Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist to join a growing, physician-led radiology practice. The ideal candidate will provide a full spectrum of image-guided minimally invasive procedures while participating in diagnostic imaging services as desired. Key Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of image-guided minimally invasive procedures, including vascular and non-vascular interventions.
Interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and X-ray (optional for Interventional Radiologists).
Evaluate patients before and after procedures, develop treatment plans, and provide follow-up care.
Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, oncologists, vascular specialists, and other healthcare providers.
Perform procedures including:
Biopsies
Drain placements
Vascular access
Angiography
Embolization
Venous interventions
Dialysis access management
Additional interventional procedures
Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting of procedures and imaging findings.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and departmental meetings.
Utilize advanced PACS, RIS, and image-guidance technology to optimize workflow and patient outcomes.
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology (IR/DR).
Eligible for or currently holding an active Missouri or Kansas medical license (preferred for faster onboarding).
Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology preferred.
Excellent procedural, clinical, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
