Job Details:

• Provide locum interventional radiology coverage with an 8-hour on-site day shift, generally between 8a-4p, with evening call 4p-8a and 24-hour call on weekends
• Stroke thrombectomy (neuro/head) capability is a required skill for this position
• Average of 10-15 procedures performed during the 8-hour on-site day shift
• Call back is typically limited to emergencies during weekday and weekend call shifts
• No requirement to read diagnostics in between IR cases
• Required procedures include: diagnostic and therapeutic vascular intervention, angiography (venous and arterial), angioplasty (venous and arterial), stenting (venous and arterial), thrombolytic therapy, embolization therapy, vascular access devices/PICCs, central lines, port-a-cath insertions, IVC filters, TIPS, percutaneous needle biopsies (above and below diaphragm, and bone), extractions (biliary and renal), abscess drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, myelography, pain management procedures, percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram, blood patch, joint/epidural injections, vertebroplasty, arthrograms, chest tube insertion, uterine artery embolization, liver Y90/TACE, gastrostomy tube insertion, nephrostomy/ureteral stent insertion, renal fistulograms, and cryoablation
• EMR: Epic
• Orientation must be completed the day before the first confirmed shift from 8am-3pm
• Credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days; an ND license is highly preferred, with IMLC required if ND license is not active
• Board certification required; IR residency or fellowship required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
• Must have experience with all required procedures
• NPDB Self-Query report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date
• Procedure list must be completed using 'Yes' or 'No' responses indicating whether the provider has completed each procedure, and must be added in the note section of the submission
• Provider availability at time of name clear is required

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
