Physician - Radiology - Interventional
Job Details:
Provide interventional radiology locum coverage including general IR and stroke thrombectomy 8-hour day shifts generally between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM with evening call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM 24-hour call coverage required on weekends Perform diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions including angiography, angioplasty, stenting, thrombolytic therapy, and embolization therapy Perform vascular access procedures including PICC lines, central lines, port-a-cath insertions, and IVC filter placements Perform TIPS, aspiration and drainage procedures, percutaneous needle biopsies, abscess drainage, thoracentesis, and paracentesis Perform pain management procedures including joint/epidural injections, vertebroplasty, and arthrograms Perform additional procedures including uterine artery embolization, liver Y90/TACE, gastrostomy tube insertion, nephrostomy/ureteral stent insertion, renal fistulograms, and cryoablation Neuro stroke thrombectomy capability is required Average of 10-15 procedures performed during the 8-hour on-site day shift Call back typically occurs for emergencies only during weekday and weekend call shifts EMR system used is Epic Board certification required IR residency or fellowship required ACLS and BLS required Active North Dakota license highly preferred; IMLC required if ND license is not active NPDB self-query report must be dated within 30 days of presentation date Procedure list must be completed using Yes or No responses indicating experience with each required procedure Facility:
