Job Title: Radiologist
Location: Mountain Home, Arkansas
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate : $406 - $438/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Radiologist for a temporary assignment in Mountain Home, Arkansas. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Radiologist:
• Serve as a General Radiologist performing a combination of moderate Interventional Radiology (IR) and Diagnostic reading
• Work on-site, 5 days per week, weekdays only, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM; no call and no weekends required
• Perform CT and ultrasound guided biopsies (excluding mammography)
• Perform drain placements including renal, biliary, gastric, gallbladder, and abscess drains in Cath lab and CT settings; place biliary stents
• Perform thoracentesis and paracentesis procedures
• Perform dialysis procedures in the Cath lab
• Manage occasional peripheral and pulmonary venous thrombosis cases
• Perform rare embolization procedures including GI and other bleeding cases
• Maintain compliance with COVID-19 and Flu vaccine requirements (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• Fellowship training in IR preferred but not required
• Candidates in the process of obtaining licensure will be considered
