CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Radiology Technologist, you will help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions.

Every day you could perform any variety of imaging examinations such as x-rays, Dexa, EKGs, and CT/CAT scans to name a few. You will also need to enjoy working directly with people as you play a huge role in the patient experience. No experience?

No problem, we train! To be successful in this role, you'll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing precise results for timely and accurate diagnosis.This is a split position: 32 hours in CT and 32 hours in general diagnosticSuccessfully performs clinical proceduresProvides guidance to the Radiology Technologist students to help provide a successful clinical educationFollows established radiation safety protocols for patients and staffManages the routine use and the QC requirements of Radiology equipmentDemonstrates professional practice standardsProvides appropriate patient care for all Radiology patient needsWe are offering a $30,000 employment incentive to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.Job Requirements Required Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic TechnologyRegistered Technologist (or registry eligible graduate) by the American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsMust achieve registration within six months of graduation or hire dateBLS-CPR certification within 480 hours of employment Preferred Preference for one (1) year experience working as a Radiologic Technologist and/or CT Tech
