CT Scan Technologist
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM, Friday to Sunday.
The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and adhering to departmental protocols. This role requires proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT scans of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and performing biopsy/drainage procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine diagnostic CT scans accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in surgical and sterile procedures as needed.
- Administer contrast media for specific studies as directed.
- Maintain and process CT equipment and systems.
- Understand and apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Graduate of an accredited AMA school.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- State license as a general radiographer.
- Current BLS certification.
