Computerized Tomography Technologist

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues. Images are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location. Maintains accurate records and files. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to privacy and confidentiality guidelines. Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment. Manages supply inventory. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Adheres to safety and wellbeing protocols for associates and patients. Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, and medical and religious exemptions may apply. Participates in E-Verify for employment verification purposes.
