Job Description
The CT/X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for performing imaging procedures, including X-rays and CT scans, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role involves working closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform X-rays and CT scans on patients as required.
- Administer contrast media and prepare patients for procedures.
- Follow protocols for radiation safety and infection control measures.
- Utilize Epic for charting and documentation of patient information.
- Assist with aspirations and biopsies as needed.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.
- ARRT certification in CT.
- ARRT certification in Radiography (Radiologic Technologist).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in imaging, including X-ray experience.
- Preferred experience with patient ratios of 1:1.
- Knowledge of Epic charting system is preferred.
