Must-Have: Ability to work independently and cover both CT and X-ray. Often single staff coverage for both modalities. Professional, friendly, and good communication skills.

Description: MUST HAVE 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN HOSPITAL SETTING.

General comments: Number of beds: 12 bed freestanding ER, with a 7 vertical fast track area. Patient ratios: 4-8 patients for nursing. Average of 80 patients per day, with 100+ during winter surge volume. Type of equipment includes GE Optima CT scanner and GE portable x-ray. Documentation system used is Meditech and Sectra. Scheduling requirements vary, with 36 hours, including weekends and holiday rotation, without on-call responsibilities. Our patients are our priority. We care like family! Facility certifications include Acute Stroke Ready FSED with Comprehensive Stroke, Trauma Level 1, and Burn Center. Advanced skills needed include Acute Stroke Ready. Moderate pediatric volume is expected. No surgical procedures or biopsies are performed on the unit. Unit guidelines and policies are provided in the attached documents. The working environment is characterized by excellent teamwork and culture. High patient experience scores rank in the 80th percentile. This is a busy, high-acuity freestanding ER.
