CT Tech
Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: VA State License required Certifications: ARRT-CT Must-Have: Candidates must have CT registry and current CT experience. Description: The unit has 2 scanners (GE and Phillips). The current staff consists of 7 full-time and 3 PRN members. When fully staffed, the day shift includes 3 staff members, the evening shift has 2, the night shift has 1, and the weekend shift has 2 staff on 12-hour rotations. The unit performs 80-100 scans per day. The equipment used includes GE and Phillips machines. The EMR systems utilized are Meditech and GE Centricity PACS. Typical procedures performed include abdominal and pelvic biopsies, head scans, spine scans, brain scans, chest scans, and CT angiographies. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and easily adjust to change. A team player attitude is essential.
