Performs diagnostic imaging procedures including CT, X-Ray, Fluoroscopy and C-arm. Applies principles of radiation protection. Exercises professional and ethical judgement in the performance of procedures. Provides exceptional patient care. Recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support measures.
Competency in components of radiography practice as appropriate
Demonstrated ability to assess and observe patients
Read and interpret radiology reports and requisitions
Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Accredited Radiography Program or equivalent
2+ years of work experience in additional modality; preferably in a hospital setting
Washington State License Required
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification or equivalent
Current American Heart Association's BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period
