Must-Have: Level 1 trauma experience and travel experience required. Candidates must be able to perform venipuncture as required. Experience in a fast-paced environment with high acuity patients is essential. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment is necessary. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box are crucial. Must be self-motivated and demonstrate teamwork with excellent customer service skills. Preference for overnight techs who can perform both CT and X-ray.
Description: The position involves a mixed patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics. The department has 8 treatment areas and utilizes Siemens equipment and Bracco contrast injectors. Common imaging studies include CTAs, heart imaging, and perfusion studies. Technologists may need to float between different imaging modalities as required. Shifts could include various schedules with weekend and holiday coverage as needed. This facility is known for its fast-paced and busy environment. Candidates must be attentive and ready to jump in to support department needs. A commitment to maintaining high-quality patient care is expected. The charting system in use is EPIC, and PACS is managed by McKesson. Candidates should provide upfront availability for time off requests. The facility reserves the right to cancel shifts as needed.
