CT Technologist - Full Time Nights
City/State: Lancaster, Ohio
Shift: Nights 4-10's (7:30PM to 6AM), Monday-Thursday - No Weekends

Job Description:
The CT Technologist performs diagnostic CT examinations and assists physicians with invasive CT procedures. Prepares examinations for interpretation, maintains radiation safety and assists with maintaining supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Performs and documents diagnostic CT examinations upon the order of an approved healthcare provider.
- Performs appropriate handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver.
- Analyzes CT examinations for quality control purposes.
- Prepares completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist.
- Operates all CT and related equipment.
- Operates all facility-based computer systems.
- Administers oral and intravenous contrast media under the direction of physician/per protocol.
- Transports, moves and positions patients in a safe and appropriate fashion.
- Assists physicians with special procedures involving the use of CT.
- Participates in quality assurance / quality control activities as related to CT.
Requirements:
- Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-approved school.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiography and CT.
- Maintains licensure requirements with the state of Ohio.
- Maintains annual CPR certification/When Seconds Count certification.
- Two years minimum experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred.
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
