Multimodality Technologist (CT/X-Ray)
Schedule
This position requires a 3X12-hour night shift, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every third weekend.
Job Description
The Multimodality Technologist is responsible for providing high-quality imaging and patient care within the X-ray and CT modalities. The technologist must effectively explain the imaging procedures to patients, ensuring they understand and are competent in the procedures being performed. The role involves producing accurate images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray and CT imaging procedures according to established protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding imaging processes.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Produce high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and maintain equipment.
• Document all imaging procedures accurately in the system.
• Possibly float to similar units as needed to meet facility requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Multimodality Technologist.
• Certification in Radiography (ARRT) and Computed Tomography (ARRT) is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Experience with Siemens equipment, PACS, and EPIC is highly preferred.
• Must provide own radiation badge; the facility does not supply them.
