Must-Have Skills/Experience: The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist operates specialized computerized x-ray equipment. They produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy. This aids radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in diagnosing various diseases and disorders. The CT Technologist assists in training students and technologists. They perform injection procedures as needed. Maintaining optimum timeliness, accuracy, proficiency, efficiency, and safety during duties is essential. Working closely with patients is crucial to ensure they understand procedures and are comfortable during their execution.
Description: This position involves operating advanced imaging equipment. Technologists will work primarily in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department settings. Candidates should possess independent thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. A patient-centered attitude is preferred. Adaptability to change and a willingness to go with the flow are essential. Candidates are required to wear charcoal grey scrubs and solid-colored undershirts in black, white, or grey. Non-porous shoes and grey scrub jackets are acceptable attire as well.
