CT Tech
This position requires a CT Tech to perform imaging procedures in an outpatient and emergency department setting. The candidate should be comfortable performing CT scans of various areas including the abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and brain perfusion. Experience with cardiac CT procedures such as pulmonary vein CT and cardiac calcium scores is desirable. X-ray experience is also necessary and should include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal studies. The candidate must be flexible with scheduling and adhere to strict policies regarding tardiness and attendance. Knowledge of electronic medical records systems is required, specifically experience with Epic. On occasion, the CT Tech may be expected to float to other facilities as needed. COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, with medical or religious exemptions considered. The candidate should be able to work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The role involves a daily caseload of approximately 20 patients. Experience with infants and pediatric patients is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication with patients and healthcare team members. Candidates must be able to prepare and administer contrast media and perform venipuncture. Proficiency in multiplanar reconstruction techniques and region of interest measurements is an asset.
