CT TechnologistUnder the general direction of the Manager, Radiology and the immediate supervision of the Lead Technologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision. The CT Technologist can perform all general diagnostic radiographic exams and CT exams. Assumes responsibility for designated areas as assigned.
The Technologist operates CT equipment, prepares and administers contrast media, performs intravenous contrast injections, operates X-ray equipment, and prepares patient's room, equipment, supplies, and medications. The CT Technologist is responsible for quality control and enforcement of core values, standards of ethics, and the policies and procedures of the designated area. The CT Technologist supports and contributes to the service excellence mission of the Radiology Department.
