Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Washington License required; pending license accepted Certifications: BLS, ARRT R, ARRT CT preferred Must-Have: Experience in Acute Care, ER, and Pediatrics Description: Seeking a CT Tech for night shifts. Start date is as soon as possible. The shift schedule is 4x10, Sunday to Wednesday, from 20:30 to 07:00. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience. First-time travelers are accepted. On-call is not required, but the technician may sign up for call shifts if desired. Certifications required include BLS and ARRT R. Preferred certification is ARRT CT. Experience with a variety of exams is expected, including trauma and inpatient cases. Daily responsibilities will include performing CT exams and X-ray procedures. Procedure types include extremities, abdomen, spine, pelvis, head, chest, thorax, musculoskeletal, and lower and upper extremities. Candidates will work alongside a minimum of two techs on night shifts. Travelers are not required to take call but may choose to pick up shifts. Candidates should be prepared to work with patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics. Travelers may float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may lead to termination of the assignment. References will be required covering the previous year of work experience.
