Job Description
CT Tech Position - Acute Care Hospital
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Requires flexibility for all shift times including nights and days. Main start times are 06:00, 08:00, 15:00, and 17:00.
Job Description
The CT Technologist will perform CT scans with a focus on high-quality imaging and patient safety. The role involves working closely with patients across a variety of ages, ensuring comfort and understanding of procedures.
Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans on patients while ensuring quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, explaining processes to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Administer contrast media as required while monitoring patient reactions during procedures.
• Collaborate with the medical team to provide accurate and efficient patient care.
• Maintain equipment and workspace in accordance with hospital regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ARRT, CA CRT, ARRT Advanced preferred.
• Experience with various CT procedures, including but not limited to abdomen, chest, and vascular scans is essential.
• Must be open to a self-scheduling system based on seniority.
