CT Tech
We are looking for a CT Tech to join our imaging department. This assignment is for a 13-week duration, with a day shift schedule of 5 days a week. The typical work hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in CT technology. A valid state license is required, along with certifications in BLS, ARRT (R), and ARRT (CT). Preferred skills include experience with infants and neonates. Previous experience with fluoroscopy studies and enema studies is also preferred. The role entails starting IVs, running labs, injecting contrast, and post-processing images. Flexibility in providing coverage between X-Ray and CT is expected. Travelers may be called off for one 8-hour shift every two weeks. Time off requests will be considered individually and are limited to one per 13-week assignment. The facility is an outpatient clinic focusing primarily on mobile patients. Daily interactions will include follow-up appointments for cancer diagnosis. Candidates must be willing to work occasional Saturdays and major holidays. It is essential that the candidates have experience with various types of imaging. They should be able to perform procedures such as abdomen and pelvic scans with and without contrast. Clinical knowledge in the preparation and administration of contrast media is required. The role may involve interacting with a diverse patient age group, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. References covering work experience may be needed. Travelers can only work for a maximum of one calendar year in this assignment before requiring a break.
