CT Technologist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to independently perform imaging procedures utilizing established scan protocols. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to apply ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities

• Independently perform computed tomography procedures, including contrast administration.
• Adjust scan protocols as necessary based on independent judgment and patient needs.
• Utilize complex imaging equipment for data acquisition, analysis, and documentation.
• Execute proper techniques in venipuncture and the use of power injectors under department protocols.
• Administer various types of contrast media and assess patient risk factors prior to administration.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members to facilitate patient care.
• Identify patients properly using two identifiers in accordance with safety protocols.
• Document patient history accurately in electronic records.
• Ensure exams are coded, tracked, and charges entered adequately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology or CNMT program.
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of obtaining the primary registry or date of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical setting.
• ARRT Certificate and Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Schedule
This position follows a rotating shift schedule of 8 x 2.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
