Description: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 4 rooms, 1 patient per room. Number of Staff: 22 staff members consisting of RNs and Techs. Type of Staff: Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, Director, and 4 staff members per room, totaling 16 staff per shift. Night Shift: On-call team with 3 on each call team, totaling 7 staff. Patient Ratios: 1:1. Type of Equipment: All GE rooms. EMR: Meditech and MacLab. Typical Hiring Profile: Skill Set Most Recruited For: Travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters. Must Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. BLS, ACLS, ARRT required. Must be competent in Special Procedures and GE Innova. Preferred Skills: Candidates with RCIS certification will be considered first. Typical Procedures Performed: Cardiac Catheterizations, Cerebral Angiograms, Stents, Balloons, ENT Lab, Scrubbing. Best Personality Fit: Team player, close-knit team, critical thinker, patient care focused, fast-paced. On-call is frequent; must be flexible and adapt to the needs of the unit. Dress Code: Red and gray scrubs in the Cath and EP Labs are acceptable. Unit scrubs may also be used.
