Experience: 1 year of recent/strong cath lab experience required; first-time travelers accepted.
License: ARRT-R and/or RCIS accepted.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS required.
Must-Have: Previous charge experience, skills in cardiac implant closure device, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, equipment setup, IABP placement/removal, interpretation of dysrhythmias, interventional cardiac cath lab, isolation precautions/PPE, left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, right heart catheterization, room circulator, rotable atherectomy, and maintaining sterile field.
Description: Locals accepted at a reduced rate. Cath Lab Tech working 3x12 or 4x10 days is accepted. Shifts are 06:30 to 19:00 for 3x12s and 07:00 to 17:30 for 4x10s. On-call hours and weekend shifts are required as scheduled. Holidays are also required as they fall, as scheduled and as part of on-call requirements. On-call requirements are approximately 8 weeknights and 4 weekend 24-hour shifts. Manager will conduct interviews to address any questions. Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope with no restrictions or special requests. Most locations will allow for one contract and one extension, requiring a 6-month break before returning to that facility or unit. Compliance documents must be submitted 5 days prior to the start. Travelers are required to complete necessary labs within 72 hours of signing the contract.
