Cath Lab Tech
The Cath Lab Tech will provide support in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization lab. The role involves working with various cardiac and vascular procedures, including STEMI, IABP, and structural heart interventions. The individual must be skilled in accurate monitoring and catheter placements, including various interventions such as angioplasty and stent placements. Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and electrophysiology procedures is preferred. The tech may also be involved in neurointervention procedures and CRM device implants. Working hours will include on-call shifts as well as weekend coverage every fourth weekend. Flexibility to float to other departments as needed is required. Adherence to sterile techniques and maintaining the sterile field is essential. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams is important for this position. Candidates must be comfortable with various charting systems and medical equipment used within the Cath Lab. The facility operates as an acute care hospital and has a staffed bed capacity that supports a variety of medical services. The Cath Lab Tech will play a critical role in supporting patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
