Radiology - Cardiothoracic Physician

Medical Center West is in need of 1 CV surgeon locum for the below dates.

Schedule/Availability Requirements:

• Weekend, Saturday and Sunday 24 hour call 7a-7a
• Monday - Friday, 7a-5p hourly and 5p-7a night call
• Urgent Dates of coverage: 9/5(am)-9/14(am)
• On going coverage as needed

• Setting: Inpatient/clinic
• Duties: Round on inpatients on CV Surgery service and be on call for emergent procedures- provider must see the patients and do procedures at the facility. They must not send patients to other facilities.
• FTE: 1.0
• Required Procedures: CABG, Thoracic, vascular(a bonus but not required)
• Average caseload for CT surgery inpatient: 4-6 patients
• Average Clinic day: 10-12, will only schedule patients that need to be seen in regular surgeons absence.
• Surgical Caseload: 1-2 CABG per week, other surgical cases 5-7 average.
• EMR: Meditech
• Support Staff: PA, NP, MA for office, Office supervisor
• Reason for Coverage: internal & privileged locums doctors not available

How many patients can the locums expect to see? Our hospital average daily census is 75. Last year, we had 74 CABG's.

• Board Certification Board Certified Highly preferred Board Eligible Required
• OH License Required

• Malpractice Clean Highly Preferred for emergency privileges
