Radiology / Cardiology - Ultrasound Tech Maternal Fetal

This position requires expertise in providing ultrasound services in a maternal-fetal medicine clinic. The role involves working with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients. No call, float, or weekend requirements.

Required Skills And Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Experience in maternal fetal medicine is essential.
• Fetal skills required: abdomen, abdominal circumference, bone lengths, cerebellum, ventricles, diaphragm, duodenal atresia/intussusception, fingers/toes, gender, head & heart.
• OB/GYN skills required: 1st-3rd trimester, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, inter/intra-orbital measurements, multiple pregnancy, placenta previa & umbilical cord Doppler.
• Procedure skills required: amniocentesis.
• Additional skills required: cervical length/vaginal scans.
• Certifications: ARDMS OB/GYN, BLS.

Preferred Skills And Certifications

• Work Setting Skills: High Risk OB & Obstetrics.
• Professional Knowledge & Skills: Isolation Precautions/PPE.

Job Details

• Average Daily Census: 12 visits per day; 6 rooms.
• Contract Length: 13 weeks.
• Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:45 am - 5:00 pm (4x8) & Fridays 7:45 am - 1:00 pm (1x5).
• No call, float, or weekend requirements.

Providing ultrasounds for a variety of diagnoses in high‑risk pregnancy.

Special Procedures and Unit Details

The clinic performs amniocentesis and supports a team of 2 MDs, 3 Sonographers, 2 CMAs, and 2 Clerical team members. Sonographers typically scan 10‑12 patients per day, conducting full anatomy scans, follow‑ups, growths, and dopplers. The clinic has 6 ultrasound rooms and 2 NST rooms, with a central workspace for patient workup and report completion.

Special Equipment

• Samsung HR; 9 machines.
• Trophon for cleaning vaginal probes.
• Documentation is completed in EPIC and ASOB.

Unit Orientation

40 hours of orientation with support from the other 3 full‑time sonographers.

Dress Code

Scrubs are not provided. Royal Blue attire is required.
