Radiologist Position at SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC)SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC)- a distinguished non-profit health consortium dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to the residents of beautiful Southeast Alaska. Ethel Lund Medical Center is seeking a full-time Radiologist to join its expanding team, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging interpretations across multiple SEARHC locations. This role offers an appealing hybrid structure, with one week per month onsite in Juneau and three weeks of remote work, OR 100% onsite supporting both clinical collaboration and lifestyle flexibility. Breast Radiology & Women's Health experience preferred.Responsible for interpreting diagnostic images from imaging modalities performed at SEARHC, including, but not limited to: radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, Dexa, ultrasound, MRI, and computed tomography (CT). Exercises independent judgment when interpreting images from these modalities.

Works with voice recognition systems to provide clearly written reports in a timely manner. Decides when it is necessary to initiate direct contact with a patient's provider to improve patient care. Interprets films outside regular duty hours when contacted by a provider. Responsible for the final interpretation of these images at SEARHC. Hybrid structure, with one week per month onsite in Juneau and three weeks of remote work.33 days (264 hours) annually and 10 days of CME.Practice Details:Work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility with a dedicated radiologist reading room, supported by a fully integrated imaging platform including Meditech EMR, Fuji PACS, and Powerscribe, and comprehensive modalities such as radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, DEXA, ultrasound, MRI, and CT.Qualifications:Four years of clinical experience following residency training.Training in general diagnostic radiology, CT, MRI, mammography, and ultrasound.
