Radiologist Opportunity in Columbia, South CarolinaFrench Consulting is seeking skilled Radiologist Physicians to provide on-site services at VA medical facilities, supporting beneficiaries across a full spectrum of radiology subspecialties. This opportunity is ideal for radiologists committed to excellence in patient care within a structured, mission-driven environment aligned with VA standards of care.Direct patient care includes providing on-site general and interventional radiology procedures, including diagnostic radiology, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine (Nuc Med), and interventional radiography (IR). Additionally, post-procedure evaluations, follow-up care, clinical consultation for IR procedure complications, and discharge education for emergency department patients are part of the role.Administrative duties involve attending staff and specialized meetings, and performing ongoing peer reviews.Ideal candidates are skilled, patient-focused radiologists who thrive in a structured, mission-driven clinical environment. They should be committed to delivering care that meets or exceeds nationally recognized standards, communicate effectively with referring physicians, residents, and VA clinical staff, and be detail-oriented in documentation, compliance, and quality reporting.

Service-oriented individuals, whether veterans, military family members, or passionate about giving back, are encouraged to apply.Licensure requirements include a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia, with no history of restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily surrendered, or denied licensure in any jurisdiction.Board certification must be per the American Board of Radiology in one of the following specialties: Abdominal/Genitourinary (GU) Radiology, Breast Imaging, Cardiovascular Radiology, General Radiology, Interventional Radiology (IR), Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology, Neuroradiology, or Authorized User (AU) – Radiology Physician.Technical proficiency includes demonstrated proficiency in all required radiology modalities and procedures, fluency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English, verifiable educational and training history with no unexplained gaps, and adherence to the Facility's Medical Staff By-Laws, rules, and regulations.Care must meet or exceed currently recognized national standards, services must reflect the quality provided at a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility, and provide verifiable evidence of all education, training, and competency upon CO/COR request. Adherence to all VA administrative, clinical, and patient safety documentation policies is also required.Mission-driven care: directly serve U.S. military veterans and their families.
