Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze complex medical images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
- Provide diagnostic services including, but not limited to, interpretation of mammography (screening & diagnostic), PET, plain films, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI.
- Perform and/or interpret studies utilizing PACS and voice recognition systems.
- Meet productivity benchmarks and be responsible for the interpretation of studies and report generation for all credentialed studies.
- Ensure all studies and clinical notes are dictated and signed in a timely manner.
- Communicate directly with ordering providers on all critical findings.
- Participate in peer review activities as well as attend clinical conferences as assigned by the Service Chief or designee.
- Fulfill equitable night call and weekend back-up duties as needed.
- Teach, supervise, and evaluate radiology residents and medical students from affiliated medical schools.
