RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST/X-RAY TECHNICIAN

Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine , a well-respected and busy orthopaedic practice, is recruiting for both a full-time and part-time certified Radiologic Technologist. Our Technologists not only perform x-rays but are cross trained to also assist with patient care duties. Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills, a passion to help our patients and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment with a positive and upbeat attitude.

Job Description:

n
• Primary responsibility: completing quality x-rays in an efficient mannern
  n
  • Fuji DR at Seven Fields, Robinson Township and Fox Chapel
  n
  • Konica KDR Primary X-ray System at North Hills and Butler
  n
  • EMR experience is a plus
  n
  n
n
• Monday through Friday daylight hoursn
  n
  • We must stay until office hours are finished and all patients are seen (latest scheduled staff)
  n
  • Possible evening and weekend hours (Ortho Urgent Care)
  n
  n
n
• Work collectively alongside Physicians/Physician Assistants
n
• All Clinical staff trained as Medical Assistants which may include but is not limited to:n
  n
  • Triaging patients
  n
  • Suture/staple removal
  n
  • Injection preparation for providers
  n
  • Bracing
  n
  • Assisting in electronically sending medications
  n
  • Ordering advanced imaging (MRI/CT/US/Bone Scan)
  n
  n
n
• Possible travel could be required to all five of our office locations: primary focus on North Hills n
  n
  • Locations: North Hills, Seven Fields, Robinson Township, Fox Chapel and Butler
  n
  • Primarily based in your "home office" which is determined by home location
  n
  • Typically placed in offices that are geographically desirable based on home address but may need to travel to other offices based on need
  n
