We are a well-established, patient-focused rheumatology private practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing both X-rays and DXA scans and committed to ensuring patient comfort and imaging accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays and bone density (DXA) scans in accordance with physician orders and industry standards.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation within the EMR system.
- Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Assist with administrative or clinical tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist) required.
- State licensure (if applicable).
- Experience with DXA scanning preferred (training available for the right candidate).
- Strong attention to detail and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- EMR experience preferred.
- Schedule is Monday-Thursday 7:45-5:45
