nQUALIFICATIONS:
nREQUIRED:
nGraduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology
nCurrently registered ARRT in Minnesota
nWritten and oral communication skills
nPREFERRED:
nPrevious work experience as a Radiologic Technologist
nMember MSRT or ASRT
nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
nAbility to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Must possess speech, hearing and sight skills to perform the functions of the position. Manual dexterity required. Must be able to speak, read and write English proficiently. Some lifting may be required. May need to travel from one clinic to another to perform job functions.

nAdhere to the Radiology Patient Services Standards.
nProvide proper radiation protection and quality care to patients, employees and self.
nImplement professional standards at all times using independent judgment as needed when necessary to depart from established techniques.
nSelect proper technical factors and operate equipment in a safe and concise manner ensuring established protocol for quality control.
nEnsure rooms are well stocked, department is organized and esthetically pleasing.
nComplete assignments as delegated by Supervisor.
nTechnical:
nProduces high quality radiographs with minimal errors.
nDemonstrates clinical competence in using correct processes to provide care to patients and their families.
nImplements established HealthPartners policies and procedures.
nProvides support to patients and their families.
nDocuments patient information accurately and completely and keeps records regarding clinical practice.
nFollows the imaging protocols set forth by their respective department.
nShares information with other members of the health care team.
nUses interdisciplinary resources to enhance own decision-making.
nSolves problems appropriately seeking assistance from members of the HealthPartners team.
nUses appropriate systems, automated or manual, to obtain patient information.
nEducation:
nEngages in ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of teaching in terms of understanding and application.
nParticipates in patient care conferences, in-services and educational programs in the HealthPartners system and community.
nMaintains ARRT registration by completing required continuing education.
nLeadership:
nServes as a role model in the enhancements of practice and professional conduct.
nDemonstrates flexibility in performing additional responsibilities to contribute to the improvements in patient care and the functioning of the care unit and other support services.
nProvides support to professional and technical staff.
nFormulates and attains personal and professional goals which promote individual growth, the care unit philosophy and the HealthPartners mission.
