Radiologic Technologist
Elitra Health /Affiliated Physicians is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform screening Mammography, CT, XRAY and Dexa scans.
Further job description includes:
- Specializes in the production of screening mammograms for the detection of breast cancers and lesions.
- Licensed and experienced with Mammo, CT, DEXA and X-Ray scanning, processes and procedures.
- Prepares patients for the radiology procedure.
- Explains procedures to the patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
- Practices radiation protection techniques by using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding skills.
- Follows prescribed safety standards in operating all required equipment.
- Examines digital images for image quality.
- Insures equipment is in proper working order at all times.
- Performs all required QA testing required to comply with MQSA, ACR and State requirements/regulations.
- Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
- Processes routine paperwork and all required data entry.
- Prepares all required reports and data pursuant to MQSA and State requirements.
- Excellent customer service and high quality clinical skills are required.
- Must be certified in the state of NY.
- Hours 6:45am - 2:45pm
Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
