As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist at MUSC, you have access to state-of-the-art imaging equipment to capture detailed X-ray images, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment planning for a wide range of medical conditions across 16 community hospitals including 3 level 1 trauma centers and many unique outpatient clinics across South Carolina. - Apply ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging in adult and/or pediatric populations
- Demonstrate a high level of technical competency in imaging procedures
- Exercise independent judgment, initiative, and ingenuity with minimal supervision
Additional Job Description
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
Experience: 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience.
Credentials:
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), If not registered must obtain the registry within 6 months of hire.
- Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
