We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to join our medical imaging team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using proper techniques and radiation safety protocols, providing high-quality images to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, technically skilled, and works well in both team and independent settings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform X-ray exams in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols
- Properly position patients and use protective devices to ensure safety
- Operate radiographic equipment and ensure images are of diagnostic quality
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in PACS and EMR systems
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment
- Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards
- Communicate clearly with patients and staff, and provide a compassionate experience
- Assist in maintaining inventory and supplies for the imaging department
- Participate in call rotation or shift coverage, if applicable
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
- BLS certification required
- Strong attention to detail and technical proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
