Job Responsibilities:
As a Radiologic Technologist, you'll play a vital role in patient care and diagnostic imaging across multiple departments, including:
- Diagnostic Imaging : Perform a variety of imaging exams for inpatient and outpatient populations using Carestream, GE, and Philips equipment.
- Emergency & Trauma : Provide timely imaging services for Level 1 trauma and emergency patients.
- Surgical Support : Assist in surgical and sterile environments using C-Arm fluoroscopy and OEC surgical equipment.
- Mobile Imaging : Conduct portable exams throughout the facility and within the department.
- Collaboration : Work closely with providers to ensure optimal image capture and determine if additional images are necessary.
- Certifications : ARRT (R), IEMA, and BLS certifications required.
- New grads encouraged to apply - strong onboarding and mentorship provided.
- Skills :
- Proficiency in patient intake, including collecting medical histories and answering questions about imaging procedures.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques for diverse populations, including pediatric, geriatric, and debilitated patients.
- Experience with EPIC charting and Change Healthcare PACS preferred but not required.
- Salary Range : $27.25 - $35.67/hour
- Shift Differentials : +$2.25/hour for nights, +$2.50/hour for weekends
- Sign-On Bonus : Up to $12K sign on with work commitment
- Full-time position
- No on-call requirement
- Weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
- Always staffed with a team - you'll never be working alone
- Imaging Suites :
- Inpatient: 5 diagnostic rooms, 6 portable units, 1 Panorex unit
- Emergency: 2 fixed rooms, 2 trauma rooms, 1 portable unit
- Surgery: 11 C-Arms, 2 O-Arms, 2 portable units
- On-campus outpatient: 3 imaging rooms
- Dress Code : Flexible scrub color policy; solid or printed tops and solid pants allowed. OR shifts require hospital-provided scrubs. Footwear must be closed-toe and non-vented.
