SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for the performance of diagnostic imaging procedures on patients, related to the Head, Chest, Abdomen, and Pelvis. Will also assist the CT Technologists with the movement of patients to and from their rooms and on and off of the CT table for imaging.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  Student in good standing in a Penn State affiliated ARRT Allied Health program required.

• n

  Must have a minimum of six (6) months experience in a Department of Radiology.

• n

  Must have passed all related Competency Exams, as directed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

• n

  Basic Life Support certification with basic patient care.

  n
n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• RIS experience preferred.
