Schedule:
- Day shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Every 3rd weekend required
- Potential to transition to afternoon shifts, as needed
- Current ARRT (R) certification
- Registered/licensed as a Radiologic Technologist in the state
- Demonstrated proficiency in general radiology and X-ray procedures
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection control standards
- Excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience in a hospital or large clinical setting preferred
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging and radiologic procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
- Prepare, position, and instruct patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate digital imaging equipment, including performing quality control and troubleshooting as needed
- Process images and accurately document findings for physician interpretation
- Maintain detailed patient records and uphold confidentiality
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient workflows and outcomes
- Adhere consistently to safety regulations, infection prevention policies, and established radiology best practices
