Step into a crucial imaging role supporting exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position is ideal for an experienced Radiologic Technologist or X-ray Tech seeking to advance their skills and contribute to a dedicated radiology team.
Schedule:

  • Day shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Every 3rd weekend required
  • Potential to transition to afternoon shifts, as needed
Qualifications:
  • Current ARRT (R) certification
  • Registered/licensed as a Radiologic Technologist in the state
  • Demonstrated proficiency in general radiology and X-ray procedures
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection control standards
  • Excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience in a hospital or large clinical setting preferred
Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging and radiologic procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
  • Prepare, position, and instruct patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Operate digital imaging equipment, including performing quality control and troubleshooting as needed
  • Process images and accurately document findings for physician interpretation
  • Maintain detailed patient records and uphold confidentiality
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient workflows and outcomes
  • Adhere consistently to safety regulations, infection prevention policies, and established radiology best practices
