Seeking an experienced imaging professional to provide high-quality radiology services with a focus on orthopedic procedures. This contract role offers a unique schedule designed to maximize work-life balance while supporting a busy department with essential diagnostic imaging.
Schedule/Hours:
- 3x12-hour shifts: Saturday, Sunday, Monday
- 5:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- One call shift per month required
- Holiday rotation: work holidays that align with regular scheduled days
- Current and active ARRT certification
- Valid BLS and PALS certification
- Demonstrated expertise in radiology and x-ray procedures
- Strong background in orthopedic imaging
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Perform diagnostic radiology exams, with a particular emphasis on orthopedic x-rays
- Operate and maintain x-ray and radiologic equipment to ensure optimal image quality
- Document patient information, procedures, and results in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to accurately assess and meet diagnostic needs
- Adhere to safety guidelines to protect patients and staff during all imaging procedures
- Participate in a rotating holiday schedule as well as assigned call shifts
- Assist with patient positioning and education regarding imaging procedures
